New Chair and Treasurer
Richard Seals and Martin Wright have been elected 'Chair' and 'Treasurer' respectively. We wish them well in their new positions.

Evening Post Interviews
The group were very kindly interviewed by Jane Garfitt of the Nottingham Evening Post for a future article in helping raise awareness for the forthcoming Open Day.

Carolyn Desforges
Carolyn, our Speech and Language member of the group attends the Oxford Dysfluency Conference in September and reports back to the group.

New Chair invited to the Houses of Parliament
Richard Seals our newly elected chair has been invited to London to show support against the new cuts to Speech and Language Therapy.

Nottingham Open Day, October, 22nd 2011
The Nottingham self help group for people who stammer, in conjunction with the national charity, The British Stammering Association, held a FREE Open Day on Saturday, 22nd October, 2011 at County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham.
Stammering can be an isolating, frustrating and emotional condition and, with generous funding from The Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, this event brought together people who stammer and to help improve life, self - esteem and speech.
